The band played on Saturday 13th September at the Chapelfield Garden Bandstand in Norwich for the

Rotary Club  Event.

Lots of nice things have been said about our performance. Below is a photo taken by Esther Knight the Musical Director’s 7 year old daughter

The Band is sad to announce the death of our life president Ron Hinton. Ron passed away last week in a nursing home in Brockenhurst in Hampshire where he had gone to live near his daughter.

There will be a memorial concert in Loddon Church on

 Saturday 9th September 2017 @ 7.30 pm

to honour the memory of Ron and for the very many who benefitted both musically and in others ways from Ron’s life to pay tribute to him. Without Ron Loddon band would not exist and so many have enjoyed his leadership and support in the band. Any former band members are very welcome to  join the current band for the concert,  and the rehearsal, which will include Ron’s favourite music, pieces from former years and will be jointly conducted by Simon Linger and Joseph Knight.
